Founding Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE This is the first engineering hire at a Y Combinator–backed AI marketing startup, working directly alongside both founders and customers. You'll own full product features end to end — from figuring out what to build, to shipping it, to iterating until it delivers real customer value. The role spans product thinking, frontend, backend, LLM pipelines, and data. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Take ownership of complete product features, from ambiguous problem through to live, iterating on production. - Collaborate directly with founders and customers to identify the highest-value things to build next. - Design simple, intuitive UX for complex workflows. - Build and maintain LLM pipelines and agentic workflows as core parts of the product. - Turn customer conversations into concrete product improvements. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 1–8 years of experience shipping production SaaS features across the full stack. - Hands-on experience designing and implementing LLM pipelines and agentic workflows in a product context. - Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React; familiarity with Vite, Supabase, Vercel, and ClickHouse is a plus. - Proven ability to own full-stack work from an ambiguous brief to a shipped product — ideally including at least one 0-to-1 product experience. - Strong communication skills; comfortable engaging directly with customers and translating feedback into product decisions. - Eligible to work in Germany, or able to obtain visa sponsorship. - Willing and available to work on-site in Munich. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary: €85,000–€120,000 per year. Equity: VSOP offered. Visa sponsorship: available for eligible candidates. LOCATION On-site in Munich, Germany. This is a fully in-person role with no remote option.
