Dental Assistant | Part Time| Lumino Feilding

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team at Lumino Feilding.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy team environment, and takes pride in helping create a positive experience for every patient.

Hours:

- Monday-Friday : 8:15am to 5:15pm

As a Dental Assistant, your role will include:

- Assisting our dentists and hygienists during a range of dental procedures - Providing chairside support and helping ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their visit - Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures - Sterilising instruments and maintaining high standards of infection control - Supporting patient arrivals and helping maintain accurate patient records - Assisting with appointment scheduling and general administration when required - Working closely with the wider practice team to help keep the day running smoothly

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

- Previous Dental Assistant or healthcare experience, although training can be provided for the right person - Excellent communication and customer service skills - A friendly, professional, and empathetic approach to patient care - Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment - Great attention to detail - A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety - The ability to work well as part of a collaborative team - A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop - Valid New Zealand work rights
