Cuidado Casero’s compassionate and dedicated staff provides an array of home health and hospice services to our clients and their families with professional care in the privacy of their homes. “Striving for Excellence in Home Health and Hospice" The Certified Nurse Aide provides personal care and related services. She/he functions in a supportive relationship to professional disciplines and may function as an extension of these professional services with appropriate supervision and specialized hospice training. He/she works under the direction, instruction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or appropriate supervisor. Tasks of the Certified Nurse Aide will be assigned by and performed under the direct supervision of an RN who will be responsible for the patient care to be provided by the Home Health. The Certified Nurse Aide needs empathetic communication skills, be flexible, and have respect for the patient’s privacy and property. A positive attitude is a must, dependable techniques in personal hygiene, good observation skills, reliability, and an understanding of the team concept.
