Metrology Technician

The Metrology Technician is responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections of plastic molded injection parts and fixtures using a variety of measurement tools and equipment. This role is highly hands-on, requiring daily use of micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, and CMM/vision systems to verify that components meet specifications and drawings. The Metrology Technician documents measurement results, supports calibration of gages, and ensures accurate records are available to production and quality departments. Working closely with product specialists, engineers, and operations staff, the technician helps identify dimensional issues, supports troubleshooting, and ensures parts consistently meet customer and regulatory standards.
