About the Role

Social@Ogilvy is a global, cross-discipline team of social experts from across all of Ogilvy’s businesses. We know there’s a new customer and stakeholder journey defined by the increasing impact our networks have on purchase decision and our behaviors. We design integrated social solutions that combine deep disciplines like CRM, public relations and shopper marketing and rooted in what drives behavior.

What You’ll Do

Associate Strategist responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to cross-discipline social media team, spanning public relations, direct marketing, advertising and shopper marketing
  • Online research and social media monitoring using a variety of social media listening tools
  • Social media strategy development
  • Participate in the creation of social content, ranging from social post, to animations
  • Campaign execution in the areas of content, community management, influencer identification, influencer outreach and offline activation
  • Measure campaign and always-on social strategy effectiveness and reporting on a monthly basis, using a variety of social media analytics tools
  • Analyze data and provide sound insights using a variety of social media analytics tools
  • Day-to-day client relationship management
  • Project management

What You’ll Need

  • Have a Bachelors degree or equivalent with a strong academic record with 1-2 years work experience in an advertising or PR agency, or related field
  • Native in Cantonese and English language, reading and writing
  • Have excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Think critically and creatively, meaning the ability to think clearly and rationally, solve problems and develop new and useful possibilities
  • Plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion
  • Work calmly and maintain good judgment in a fast-paced work environment
  • Understand current and emerging media, social platforms and their usage from a consumer and business perspective
  • Be passionate about social media & digital marketing,
  • Curious and keen to be on top of online trends
  • Have good understanding and strong passion for social platforms, especially Facebook & Instagram, knowledge of both platforms post formats is a must

Additional skills preferred, but not required:

  • Mandarin language skills & English reading and writing
  • Video production and editing
  • Business development experience
