Section Supervisor - Athens Diagnostic Imaging - Salary (71380)

In an environment of continuous quality improvement , the Section Supervisor is responsible for continuous quality improvement, providing 100% customer satisfaction and 100% quality by acting as a coach and facilitator for techs working the bench by evaluating and reviewing all work in the designated section; maintaining quality control within the section to include evaluating equipment, procedures and section staff; performing tests and operating equipment. Exhibits the Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times. Job Functions: Under the direction of the Director, performs supervisory duties. Performs section (modality) specific patient procedures. Complies with State and Federal regulations and licensure requirements of modality. Direct and train students and new employees in maintenance, procedures and operation of equipment. Assume duties of the Director in his/her absence. Has the authority and responsibility to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, discipline, direct, or recommend such actions by using independent judgment. Completes and conducts employee performance evaluations based on direct observation of their employee’s job performance. Granted authority to perform the supervisory duties and are held accountable for performing such duties. Maintains compliance in RQI. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
