About the role

The Opportunity St Francis of Assisi College is seeking passionate, dedicated teachers to join our secondary teaching team from the start of the 2027 school year. We currently have multiple teaching positions available across the following curriculum areas: • Mathematics • Science • English • Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) • Food and Hospitality / Child Studies • Technologies (Tech Studies) • Health and Physical Education (HPE) • Psychology Whether you're an experienced practitioner or an early-career teacher ready to make your mark, we want to hear from you. Please indicate your subject area(s) of interest, and your preference for full-time or part-time work, in your application. Key responsibilities include: • Plan, deliver and assess engaging teaching and learning programs across Years 7–12, aligned with the Australian Curriculum and/or SACE requirements • Differentiate teaching and learning to support the full range of student abilities and learning needs • Track and report on student progress, using data to inform teaching practice • Contribute to curriculum development within your subject area(s) as the College continues to grow • Build strong, respectful relationships with students, families and colleagues • Actively participate in the pastoral, co-curricular and wider life of the College About You We are seeking someone who has: • Relevant teaching qualification and current (or eligible) SA Teacher Registration Board registration in one or more of the curriculum areas listed above • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for your teaching area(s) • Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills • A collaborative, flexible approach and willingness to contribute to a growing College community • A commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the College • A current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one) and a commitment to child safety Teaching at St Francis of Assisi College For further information refer to the Position Description Why Us?
