Position Summary: This position will involve working as a cooperative member of the College Guidance Office team. Duties and Responsibilities: Greets visitors and office constituents such as students, parents, college admission representatives, faculty, and staff Answers the office’s main telephone lines Manages the daily calendar for office and assists setting college counselors appointments with students and parents. Performs other clerical tasks upon the request of the Director and other professional staff members. Manage and operate College Guidance database system (Scoir) Assist with management and orchestration of annual Sunshine Invitational College Fair Manage Bright Futures Scholarship program for senior students Organize all counselor and teacher recommendation letters for senior students Assist in organization of all office programs Create and manage annual office calendars for Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes Performs other duties essential to the operation of the office at the request of the Director of College Guidance
