Under direct supervision, responsible for processing orders, data entry, customer quotes, for materials or merchandise from direct customer contact supporting the Western Region Sales team ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for processing orders for materials or merchandise from direct customer contact. Create and monitor work orders to meet production and customer requirements. Create sales order’s ensuring proper documentation and approvals are obtained prior to order booking. Maintains customer files with sales purchase orders, sales orders and other information. Tracks sales shipment, delivery, and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports when needed. Provides technical assistance to customers and sales personnel via telephone. Act as a Liaison between customers and manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, sales, field service and accounting to resolve status, production, delivery and billing inquiries. Provide status and data for weekly customer reporting.
