The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Repair Technician to help ensure safe, reliable transportation across the Northern Neck counties. Based at our Haynesville Shop, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing the equipment our crews rely on every day. In this position, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of fleet and heavy equipment, using your technical expertise to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. We’re looking for a candidate with strong mechanical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team as we keep Virginia moving.
