Novate Solutions, Inc. is an Industrial Technology Services firm with 20+ years of providing professional engineering design, turnkey project implementation, and support services for the technology that runs industrial production facilities. Our clients are large scale industrial facilities that rely on us for our expertise and high-quality implementation of process control systems, information software, instrumentation, industrial networks, SCADA/BMS, measurement, inspection, motion, and state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 technologies. Novate is currently looking for an Engineer l, Instrumentation & Controls to join our team. This individual will develop engineering designs that include product selection for all aspects of automation system design. This will include selection and proper sizing of process controllers (PAC/PLC), proper specification of I/O, network interface and switching, power supplies, circuit protection equipment, enclosures and terminal blocks. Research shall be conducted to check the feasibility and viability of engineering design. The ideal individual is capable of instrumentation selection for various processes, including power monitoring (CT/VTs), pressure, temperature, flow, level and other common process monitoring systems. The ability to develop full MEP packages is a plus. In this role, you will collaborate with account managers, your manager and other engineers to ascertain project scope and specifications. You will develop designs that meet project scope requirements based upon client requirement documentation and MEP documentation, selecting industrial components, automation systems, instrumentation and network equipment. All will be incorporated into a cohesive and clear engineering package. The engineering packages will clearly communicate design intent and support fabrication, installation, qualification and acceptance testing.
