About the role
Job Summary: The Support Services Technician plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our non-emergent medical transportation (NEMT) services. This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining vehicles, keeping their local office organized and well-stocked, and providing general support to transportation team members. The Support Services Technician will assist with light mechanical tasks, maintain a clean and safe environment, and ensure that all equipment and supplies are in working order for daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Preparation & Maintenance: Ensure vehicles are properly stocked, cleaned, and ready for deployment. Perform light mechanical tasks such as inflating tires, jumpstarting vehicles, and changing light bulbs when necessary. Shuttle vehicles between locations as needed for maintenance or operational purposes. Stock & Inventory Management: Maintain adequate levels of equipment and supplies within their local office to ensure smooth daily operations. Monitor inventory and notify the supervisor of low-stock items or equipment needing replacement. Facility Management: Keep the local office clean, organized, and well-maintained. Perform general cleaning duties such as removal of trash and debris from the office and surrounding areas. Team Support: Assist transportation team members with patient movements includingwheelchair patients and stretcher based patient. Ensure that all vehicles and equipment are safely and properly stored. Health & Safety: Ensure that all vehicles and equipment meet company safety standards and regulations. Report any issues, malfunctions, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
