SUMMARY : The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of state buildings and indoor premises . Work involves maintaining restrooms and floors clean. Entry level position and works under close supervision with minimal latitude. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintains cleanliness of state buildings and indoor premises. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for maintaining client’s location clean. This pertains specifically to restrooms and floors within the building/office. Responsible for restroom maintenance, applying cleaning chemicals, mopping, spraying, waxing, and stripping floors. Ability to work with chemicals used for cleaning purposes . Responsible for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment in working order. Demonstrates excellent work habits, maintaining a good attitude. Ensure all safety rules are adhered to. Maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding Goodwill Industries of El Paso, Inc. and persons receiving services. Assists in other areas as requested.
