What You Need to Know Genesis Products is seeking an experienced Advanced Production Associate for our manufacturing facility in Mocksville, NC. This position will be based in the Paper Room department and will support production and inventory operations as needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: Operating a stand-up forklift and performing physical labor as needed. Reading production schedules to determine material requirements. Identifying, scanning, and tracking inventory accurately. Flipping, pulling, stacking, and combining paper inventory to support machinery. Counting, labeling, and returning material to the warehouse correctly. Using an electric banding tool properly. Charging and refilling electric batteries as needed. Maintaining a fully computerized inventory system, including receiving and other transactions. Preparing, packaging, and loading paper trucks for transfer to other facilities. Handling multiple tasks in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Using a computer and scan gun system to maintain inventory controls. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Supporting other production areas as needed and participating in cross-training opportunities. Required Skills Forklift Operation: Proficiency in operating a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently. Inventory Management: Ability to read schedules, identify materials, scan inventory, and maintain accurate records. Material Handling: Strength and ability to flip, pull, stack, combine, and move paper inventory. Computer Skills: Comfort using computer systems and scanning guns for inventory tracking and transactions. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in counting, labeling, and documenting inventory movements. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor in a demanding manufacturing environment. Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Multitasking: Ability to manage several responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. Team Flexibility: Willingness to support other areas and cross-train as business needs require.
