Computer Operator

Operates computer equipment and monitors production activities according to predefined procedures. Process workload according to pre-defined procedures; maintain computer room/building security; maintain production processing cycles and tape library records; and maintain service backups. Provides assistance and guidance to operator trainees as needed. Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________1. Polices procedures in effect and reports any violations to Systems Services.2. Monitors security of data center and the building according to defined security procedures.3. Files incident reports accurately and timely when required.4. Constantly verifies that established production checkpoint procedures are followed.
