About the role

HEAVY MACHINERY MECHANIC/TECHNICIAN—2nd SHIFT Help keep our high-pressure die casting presses running at peak performance. We’re looking for an experienced Mechanics/Technicians with the skills to repair and rebuild vertical and horizontal high-pressure die casting presses ranging from 850T to 2,000T, trim presses, CNC machines, and Fanuc robots. If you have a knack for heavy machinery repair, hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting, you’ll fit right in. What You’ll Do • Repair, rebuild, and maintain vertical and horizontal high-pressure die casting presses (850T–2,000T), and related equipment. • Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues using schematics and blueprints. • Perform welding, fabrication, and precision fitting of components. • Operate cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment to handle large press components. • Conduct inspections to prevent breakdowns and keep production on schedule. • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams for efficient press operation. What We’re Looking For • High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or willing to complete. • 6+ months in industrial maintenance, heavy machinery repair, or similar role (die casting equipment experience preferred). • Able to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams. • Industrial Maintenance Certification (or willingness to obtain). • Hands-on, safety-minded, and comfortable working with large-scale machinery in a manufacturing environment. Work Environment & Physical Requirements • Hands-on role in a hot manufacturing environment requiring standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working with tools and machinery. • Safety is a top priority, and proper PPE is always required.
