About the role

Assembles metal products, such as valves, or hydraulic cylinders, partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Positions parts according to knowledge of product or following bills of materials. Removes small quantities of metal with hand files, pneumatic grinder, or grinding wheel. Operates drill presses to assist in assembly operation. Operates test equipment to evaluate product. Performs suitable maintenance. Stocks inventory. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
