ACTIVITIES AIDE – Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus PT Evening Shift (12 - 8), alternating weekends Join our team at Brothers of Mercy , where Activities Aides play a vital role in creating meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents. This position allows you to make a direct, positive impact on residents’ daily lives through social, recreational, and therapeutic programs. What You’ll Do: a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Plan, organize, and lead activities including crafts, music programs, exercise groups, sensory activities, videos/movies, social activities, and daily living skill programs tailored to residents' abilities and interests. Lead and facilitate evening programming, including running two scheduled evening activities. Assist with one-on-one interactions and group activities on assigned units. Develop, update, and document resident activity care plans in accordance with departmental and regulatory requirements. Complete accurate documentation of resident participation, engagement, and responses to activities. Set up, maintain, and decorate activity areas to ensure a safe, efficient, and pleasant environment. Transport and seat residents for activities, meals, and special events. Monitor residents during programs, including those who may wander away from activity areas. Assist with meal tray service and transportation to and from meals as needed. Support other departments and assist with resident needs as necessary to ensure quality care and a positive resident experience.
