Billing Representative (Hospice)

Billing Representative (Hospice) is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of hospice-related billing and reimbursement activities. This position manages Medicare hospice claims, including claims requiring GW modifiers, resolves B9 denials, submits claims to the appropriate hospice payer, and determines financial responsibility for services related or unrelated to a patient's hospice election. The representative collaborates with hospice providers, skilled nursing facilities, clients, Sales Teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure proper reimbursement, accurate invoicing, regulatory compliance, and complete documentation to support audit readiness.
