About the Role
As a Senior Technical Artist (Unreal Engine) , you’ll serve as the vital bridge between artists and our Unreal Engine pipeline, developing tools, optimising workflows, and supporting production scale for high-end digital asset creation and real-time productions. We are looking for someone who is passionate about seeking new opportunities to create impactful work, acting as a technical backbone to eliminate bottlenecks and empower visual creators.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Unreal Engine art pipeline tools, workflow automation, and user-friendly extensions that improve artist productivity.
• Support artists with asset integration, validation, optimisation, and technical troubleshooting across complex production workflows.
• Collaborate with artists, developers, and QA teams to identify and resolve pipeline bottlenecks while maintaining clear technical documentation.
• Review production workflows continuously to implement efficiency and scalability improvements across real-time projects.
• Work alongside generalists to prepare, integrate, and validate 3D assets smoothly into Unreal Engine.
• Mentor and guide artists in adopting new tools, technical pipelines, and best practices.
About You
The essentials:
• Strong expertise in Unreal Engine Blueprints and proven experience developing real-time pipeline tools and workflow automation.
• Professional experience working on automotive visualisation, vehicle configurators, or high-end automotive real-time productions.
• Deep understanding of Unreal Engine asset pipelines , content workflows, asset optimisation, and technical debugging.
• Experience building real-time applications , configurators, or automated pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with a detail-oriented, self-motivated mindset in fast-paced environments.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Not a must, but a plus:
• Programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
• Experience with USD (Universal Scene Description) or version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of Control Rig , rigging workflows, and DCC tools such as Maya or Blender.
• Understanding of real-time and offline rendering pipelines for premium global brands.
• German language skills.
