OSHC Qualified Educator - Casual

Role Details We are currently seeking enthusiastic, qualified OSHC Educators to join our team, with multiple positions available. At this stage, we’re seeking applicants who can support both our term-time and vacation care programs, with availability Monday to Friday during the school term being especially important for our service. Successful candidates will demonstrate: • An ability to actively support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of Our Lady of the Visitation School and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life. • Maintain a clean and safe environment before, during and after the completion of the daily program. • Knowledge of planning, programming and observations will be highly regarded. • Build and maintain positive relationships with children aged 4 - 12 years of age and working in a team environment, to deliver best outcomes for families and children. • Contribute to and involvement with the educational program under direction to provide a high-quality program for all children. • High level of availability is desirable • An ability to show initiative and proactively manage tasks is essential. Assist with the smooth running of the OSHC / Vacation Care routine in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures under the direction of the Director. Qualified educators will be supported to upskill and work towards promotion as a Responsible Person with our service. The role requires the OSHC Educator to work a combination of the following: • Before School Care • After School Care • School Pupil Free Days • Vacation Care • Split Shifts • Number of shifts will be negotiable Required Qualifications • ACECQA approved qualification to work as a qualified Educator in South Australia • Students studying an Education Degree are welcome and encouraged to apply • Current First Aid qualifications (HLTAID012) • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) • Current Responding to Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care Training (Full Course) • Do Food Safely (free online course) • Anaphylaxis and Asthma e-learning (free online courses) • Geccko Childsafe Foundation Training (free online course) View Privacy Statement Catholic Education South Australia is committed to ensuring the safety, wellbeing and dignity of all children and young people.
