Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Sr Electrical Engineer is responsible for sustaining, value-engineering, and new product development activities related to electrical control systems and PCBAs. This role partners with cross-functional teams to design, evaluate, validate, and improve system-level performance, reliability, manufacturability, and compliance of electronic control solutions used across spa, pool, and bath applications. Key Job Responsibilities Design, evaluate, and improve spa, pool, and bath electrical control systems and control panel boards (PCBA). Lead system-level design activities, including power, control, interfaces, and integration across hardware, software, and mechanical subsystems. Investigate and utilize new technologies where appropriate. Investigate and resolve product problems on new and legacy products using structured root cause analysis and corrective action methods. Work with the electrical design team to improve product manufacturability, testability, and reliability. Develop schematics, select components, and oversee PCB buildouts. Define and support verification and validation activities for electrical systems and PCBAs. Work with the Test Engineering team to develop customized PCBAs for signal conditioning, testing, and production support. Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams. Provide support for sustaining and new product issues in manufacturing and the field. Ensure designs comply with applicable government, safety, and regulatory requirements, and support certification efforts as needed. Support continual cost reduction efforts while maintaining product quality, compliance, and company reputation.
