Prep Cook

Job Summary: A Morning Prep Cook prepares and cooks food items for customers in a deli, grocery store, restaurant, or food service establishment. They ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and assemble breakfast bar foods such as eggs, bacon, hot meals, and other menu items. Use deli equipment. Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation standards. Follow recipes and portion-control guidelines. Monitor food temperatures and adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures. Stock and rotate ingredients and supplies according to FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Assist with inventory management and report shortages to supervisors. Serve customers courteously and answer questions about menu items. Comply with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards.
