Apex’s Rockies Division is expanding and is looking for an Environmental Compliance Scientist . The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail- orient ed and has the technical compliance skills needed to support projects .
Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Compliance Scientist 3 :
- Collect groundwater samples for dewatering and baseline water quality.
- Support preparation of environmental permits and reports for projects, facilities, and operations for various clients.
- High degree of technical competency with completing baseline water quality sampling in Colorado and/or Wyoming.
- Familiarity with NPDES permitting in Colorado and/or Wyoming.
- Provide technical oversight and mentor scientific staff to ensure quality work products. Conduct water quality sampling and prepare environmental compliance reports and technical deliverables.
- Client interaction includes onsite and virtual client meetings.
- Strong track record of field work, proposal development and managing project deliverables, schedules and budgets.
- Understanding of environmental legislation and regulations and determine impact on client activities.
- Define and develop your own professional growth with mentoring from project managers.
- Flexible working conditions. In office, hybrid or remote. Occasional office meetings.
What we're looking for:
