SIGN-ON BONUS OFFERED for Full-time and Part-Time positions! We're seeking ARRT registered mammography technologists with diagnostic, biopsy, stereo and/or breast ultrasound experience. Full benefits (including healthcare) offered to employees who average 24 hours a week or more. 401K offered to PRN employees. Shifts: Full time, part time and PRN - Monday to Friday daytime hours Locations: • Cotswold (Charlotte) • Medical Center Plaza (Charlotte) • Morehead Breast Center (Charlotte) • Southpark (Charlotte) POSITION SUMMARY: The Mammography Technologist performs technical activities associated with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures to obtain high quality images of the breasts. They assist radiologists in diagnostic procedures, including but not limited to stereotactic imaging and biopsy, to evaluate and diagnose physiological changes in breast patterns and serve as an integral part of providing an exceptional patient care experience. Qualifications: • Experience: Diagnostic, biopsy, stereo and/or breast ultrasound mammography experience • Certs: ARRT Mammography registered, BLS, CPR • Education: Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology • Computer literate • Ability to read and interpret medical reports, extract pertinent information from them and present that information in a concise and appropriate manner • Anatomic knowledge of breast tissue pattern and related structures as well as breast pathology and treatment of breast pathology • Knowledge of radiographic technique and positioning • Knowledge of ultrasound positioning and anatomy • Proficient in diagnostic imaging and stereotactic biopsy and imaging • Excellent communication skills • Excellent customer service, both internal and external • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality • Travel required: 0 – 25% • Primarily walking and standing • Lift 25 lbs #CRCAREERS Charlotte Radiology offers competitive base salary and comprehensive health and welfare benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, PTO, Telehealth, Disability, Employee Assistance Program, and 401k Retirement Savings.
