About the role
Loenbro is seeking a Project Manager for our Structural/Mechanical Division. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our structural and mechanical projects, from initial scope to final completion, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and meet quality standards. This role involves managing budgets, timelines, and milestones, coordinating with various teams, and acting as the primary client contact.
Supervisory Responsibilities: The Project Manager is fundamentally accountable for supervising structural and mechanical projects and directing all assigned resources. This includes overseeing subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams comprising superintendents, engineers, and coordinators. The Project Manager guides the project team, delegates tasks, ensures adherence to safety and quality standards, and validates that work is completed on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities:
• Project Planning & Coordination: Coordinate directly with Pre-Construction Department and define project objectives. Develop detailed project schedules and key milestones for structural steel erection, mechanical systems installation, and equipment setting. Present project cost and schedule updates to executive management monthly. Assist in budgeting, bidding, and awarding subcontracts for fabrication, installation, and commissioning work.
• Safety & Quality Leadership: Coordinate with Safety Department to ensure all company policies and procedures are followed, with emphasis on steel erection safety, crane operations, and mechanical system protocols. Work with QA/QC to define inspection and testing requirements for structural connections, welds, and mechanical systems. Ensure all as-built documentation meets industry standards and client requirements.
• Resource & Materials Management: Monitor and coordinate resources through Project Superintendent. Coordinate with Procurement to ensure all structural and mechanical materials including steel members, piping, valves, and equipment are available on site. Manage material quantities and track installation progress against project specifications.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as primary client contact and identify all project stakeholders including engineers, fabricators, and equipment vendors. Clearly communicate expectations during construction handoff meetings and weekly scheduling meetings. Develop and deliver progress billing documentation and follow up on invoice payments. <span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"13
