Number of Direct Reports (Solid Line) : 0 Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line) :0 Number of Outsourced Reports : 0 Purpose of the Job : Shift in Charge - Manufacturing is to ensure continuous running of equipment and machinery. He plays a vital role in the efficiency, development and progress of manufacturing processes. Maintenance engineers work with other professionals in order to improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdown and develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes. Major Responsibilitie s : Production: Analyse productivity on a day to day basis, identify reasons for shortfall if any discuss with superiors / subordinates for corrective preventive action. Analyse daily generation of defects and scrap to meet the process efficiencies. Co-ordination: Coordinates and directs assigned technical, maintenance and production functions to maximize operational efficiency Optimum Utilisation: Ensuring optimum utilisation of available manpower, machines other resources. Control of Management Systems: Effective control of existing management systems with respect to quality, environment, health and safety. Control includes conformance to norms and authority to stop production as part of adherence to all IMS requirements Skills : Knowledge of Production processes Knowledge about tyre manufacturing Knowledge about QMS and QC Tools Knowledge about Engineering Relevant Experience : 3-5 years Education Qualification(s) : BTECH MEchanical
