The Role: We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our Infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years' experience supporting production infrastructure who enjoys working across a broad range of technologies, particularly Linux, while also being comfortable in mixed-platform environments. Key Responsibilities: Supporting Linux systems and infrastructure services across a mixed Linux (Ubuntu and RHEL) and Microsoft environment Assisting with the deployment, maintenance and improvement of servers and infrastructure services Troubleshooting system, application, performance and availability issues Working with automation and configuration management tooling Supporting virtualisation, storage, networking and cloud-based services Contributing to documentation, monitoring and operational best practices Requirements: Essential: 2-5 years' experience supporting production infrastructure environments Good Linux administration skills, including services, networking, permissions, filesystems and logging Experience working in mixed Linux and Microsoft environments Experience supporting physical, virtual or cloud-based infrastructure Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and authentication services Experience with scripting or automation using Bash, PowerShell or Python Desirable: Experience with configuration management or automation tooling such as Puppet, Ansible or similar Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms Familiarity with Active Directory-integrated Linux environments Experience with tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, Docker, Grafana, Terraform or Kubernetes would be beneficial but is not required.
