As a Senior Engineer on the Project Development team, you’ll work on diverse roadway, traffic, safety, and multimodal projects in one of Virginia’s fastest‑growing regions. You’ll review concepts and designs, lead technical aspects of transportation studies, and collaborate with localities and multidisciplinary teams to advance innovative projects. This role requires strong skills in transportation project design, roadway geometric design, construction cost estimating from concept through final plans, and preliminary engineering. With a mix of rural, suburban, and urban environments—and proximity to Richmond and Washington, D.C.—the Fredericksburg District offers an outstanding setting for professional growth.
