UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a designer / front-end developer to join our growing team. At ApprenNet, we’re building the next generation of online learning. Our platform uses video role play and peer review to provide one of the best online learning experiences out there. We’re used by major corporations, schools of law, nursing, education, business and more to teach skills that really matter. We are a growing team tackling big problems: We want anyone to be able to learn real skills, anywhere We want to make online learning actually work We want to make online learning just as social as learning in the classroom As the sole designer on our engineering team, you will be able to let your creative juices flow as you make our platform a joy to use on web, mobile and desktop. You will be responsible for taking new features from idea to HTML / CSS / Javascript code, and everything in between. Most importantly, you will be helping to make ApprenNet a joy to use, and a place where people want to learn. Responsibilities Be an HTML and CSS expert Rapidly prototype with markup or a wireframing tool Create beautiful designs in Photoshop Work with experts to build clean, reusable javascript code in frameworks like BackboneJS and AngularJS Requirements You’re a great designer with strong opinions You have experience designing for multiple platforms - web, mobile, maybe even in desktop apps?
