Imaging Technologist - Mammographer Procedures

0.2 FTE Casual Mammographer scheduled 2 days a pay period and an opportunity to pick up additional days as needed. JOB TITLE : Imaging Technologist – Mammographer, Procedures, Diagnostics, and Screenings LOCATION: Breast Center Coon Rapids REPORTS TO: Clinic Manager or Lead Technologist SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY : None SUMMARY OF POSITION: Perform mammography exams and procedures according to established protocols to provide quality images and patient care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Perform all mammography exams and procedures according to established protocols to provide quality images and patient care in a timely manner. • Obtain patient history, answer questions, and provide the patient with information about the exam and/or procedure so they are comfortable and thoroughly understand it. • Work with the radiologists, referring clinics and/or patients to ensure the appropriate exams, films and medical records are correct and prepared for the exam. • Ensure all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete for the radiologist, referring clinic and the patient’s medical records. • Incorporate company values into daily interactions with internal and external customers. • Other duties may include, but are not limited to, training new employees, stocking and/or ordering department supplies and assisting in other departments.
