Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice The Heart of the Role We are looking for a compassionate, clinically skilled Registered Nurse who understands that hospice care isn’t just about the end of life—it’s about the quality of life. As a Hospice RN, you will be the primary advocate for your patients, providing expert pain management, emotional support, and dignity to individuals and their families during one of life’s most sacred journeys. What You’ll Do • Comprehensive Assessment: Evaluate patient needs, manage complex symptoms, and adjust care plans in real-time. • Symptom Management: Administer palliative treatments and medications to ensure maximum patient comfort. • Family Guidance: Provide education and emotional support to caregivers, helping them navigate the physical and emotional challenges of end-of-life care. • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and CNAs to provide a holistic "whole-person" approach. • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure seamless continuity of care. What You’ll Bring • License: Active, unencumbered RN License in [State]. • Experience: Minimum of [1-2] years of nursing experience. (Experience in Hospice, Oncology, or ICU is a major plus). • The "Hospice Heart": Exceptional bedside manner, active listening skills, and the ability to remain calm and supportive in emotionally charged environments. • Autonomy: A self-starter who excels at time management and can work independently in a home health or facility setting. • Reliability: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
