About the role

About Comms365:

Comms365, part of Wireless Logic Group, is a UK-based provider of resilient, always-on business Internet connectivity, delivering 4G/5G, fixed-line, bonded Internet, SD-WAN, and network security solutions to organisations that can't afford downtime. Founded in 2008, the company owns and manages its own Cisco-based core network and counts clients like Moonpig, BT, and The Entertainer among its customers.

Overview:

The Head of Marketing will play a leading role in the growth of Comms365. The primary objective is to work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to align marketing initiatives with business goals, build the go-to-market strategy, generate demand, and deliver the required volume of leads to support the sales targets and revenue growth plan.

This role oversees all marketing functions, along with external agency support, and collaborates closely with sales, product, channel partners and suppliers.

The job will involve deploying a variety of tried-and-trusted, as well as innovative, techniques across both direct and indirect channels to market — enhancing brand awareness and building a predictable, sustainable pipeline of sales opportunities from both outbound and inbound campaign activity to drive customer acquisition.

This is a hybrid role, working from the Comms365 office, from home, and attending events where required.

Role Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy, aligned with Comms365's company objectives
  • Lead brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team
  • Manage marketing budgets, forecasts, and ROI reporting
  • Develop and implement an annual marketing plan, within an agreed budget, to deliver the leads and retention levels required to hit Comms365's financial targets
  • Complete a monthly board report on progress against the annual plan and budget, and report on campaign KPIs more frequently

Demand Generation & Campaigns

  • Oversee digital marketing, content, demand generation, PR, events, and campaigns
  • Compile end-to-end campaigns that drive interest and sales results across multiple products — new business, partner, and cross-sell into existing clients
  • Build and run an event calendar that drives interest from direct and partner channels, supporting lead generation and brand awareness
  • Support the management and success of the Comms365 SDR strategy — maintaining a campaign calendar and strong data flow into sequences, and consistently reviewing and recommending enhancements

Partners & Suppliers

  • Oversee agency, vendor, and partner relationships
  • Engage existing and future suppliers, vendors, and partners to secure their support (content, resource, and financial) for campaigns and events
  • Develop strong relationships with marketing and commercial contacts within key partners, aligning go-to-market strategy and supporting joint campaigns
