a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven full-time Psychiatrist to join our Adult Intensive Services (AIS) team and provide exceptional psychiatric care to individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. In this collaborative role, you will conduct medication evaluations, psychiatric assessments, and ongoing medication management while working alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, and patient care coordinators dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art behavioral health care. This position offers the opportunity to serve diverse and often underserved populations, including individuals experiencing mental health crises, co-occurring cognitive disorders, and involuntary psychiatric treatment. In addition to direct patient care, you will play a key role in educating and mentoring psychiatric fellows, residents, nurse practitioner students, medical students, nurses, and early-career clinicians. Schedule. We are hiring a full-time Psychiatrist and have flexible schedules including 4- and 5-day workweeks. We have a hybrid work schedule where you can enjoy working remotely half-time and work in the office 2 days per week! Essential Functions: Provide direct medical and psychiatric services through the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment of patients assigned, on a regular basis as within the scope of State care. Assure clinicians in assigned services receive appropriate clinical supervision, as necessary. Work with multidisciplinary staff to evaluate and triage according to level of acuity, as needed. Share 24-hour on-call responsibilities with other psychiatrists for residential, outpatient and emergency care, as assigned. Maintain availability by telephone for face-to-face evaluation of emergency patients, as appropriate. Provide utilization review of all patients in continuing care to ensure appropriate medical/psychiatric services are received, as needed. Attend team and other meetings, as necessary. Provide consultation with other physicians and staff on patient care and difficult cases, as needed. Attend continuing medical education conferences to maintain excellent standards of care, on a regular basis. Understand and comply with organizational goals around quality, compliance, standards, and policies. Complete required education and training in a timely manner. Provide information to credentialing, payroll, etc. in a timely manner. Complete required education and training in a timely manner. Accurately and completely document patient care. Monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the client's care team.
