General Cleaner At JANCOA the General Cleaner will always provide exceptional service with a smile. The General Cleaner will be friendly, professional, organized, and work quickly. General Cleaners must be able to work well alone as well as part of a team. They must be very honest, have a strong work ethic, and a positive can do approach to their work. The JANCOA General Cleaner will keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work with a sense of urgency to stick to cleaning schedule and building specifications. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean window sills, glass partitions, and mirrors. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, spot clean carpet, and vacuuming with both upright and backpack vacuums. Gather and dispose of trash. Keep supplies and closet clean and to JANCOA standard of organization. Work with supervisor and peers to cultivate a team environment. Communicate missed tasks and/or incomplete duties that do not meet the JANCOA standard with JANCOA office. Prepare cleaning solutions according to manufacturer specifications on Ready to dispense units. Quickly respond to client request through building supervisor.
