Any member of the kitchen staff should enjoy working in a busy restaurant environment with the capacity to take and follow direction and multi-task efficiently. All position responsibilities must be performed in accordance with city, state, federal and Company policy. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure that all dishes are properly washed, sanitized and stocked with minimal breakage. • Operate an industrial Dishwasher. • Empty and clean all trash receptacles. • Wash glassware, trays and other tools by hand when necessary. • Maintain a clean and organized dish storage area. • Ensure cooler is organized and items are easily accessible. • Provide support to the prep and Dishwasher and other kitchen staff when necessary. • Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately. • Perform opening, closing and side work ensuring that the opening and closing checklists are accurately and efficiently completed. • Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures. • Other duties as assigned by management.
