Teachers Aide

The position is responsible for helping to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate Christian educational program in accordance with all Red Hill Lutheran Church and School policies and procedures. Under direction of classroom teachers, assist and instruct pupils in a combination of academic, social, behavioral, and other related skill areas; assist in the planning, developing, organizing, and delivery of a comprehensive Christian education program for students; assist students, staff, teachers, and other staff members in aiding pupils in adjusting to a structured Christian educational environment; perform other related functions as required (i.e. substitute teaching as directed). Perform a variety of complex and responsible duties in providing information and assistance to students, staff, parents, and the public by using RHLS systems and processes. Initiate, create, and maintain printed and electronic communication systems to support all RHLS activities (including social media). The position is fluid in that the person will provide instructional support as well as leadership as experience in the position grows. The person can be called on to take over as a substitute teacher from time to time with limited advance notice.
