Service Writer — Navasota WCTractor is an established Kubota equipment dealership with locations across Central and East Texas. When you join WCTractor, you will work alongside leaders who set the standards responsible for our reputation as an industry leader. Service Writer Responsibilities As a Service Writer with WCTractor, you will be the main point of contact for service customers in Navasota, keeping work moving efficiently between the counter, the shop, and the customer. You'll manage the full lifecycle of service work orders and warranty claims, coordinate technician workload against daily priorities, and help the department run smoothly through clear communication and organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as the primary contact for service customers, from intake through completion Enter, schedule, and track service work orders and warranty claims start to finish Review work orders for completeness and accuracy, and determine work priorities Stage and coordinate technician workload based on management priorities Provide customers with general diagnoses of equipment problems, communicated clearly by the technician Maintain quality control on completed work and flag variances to management Prepare technician status reports and time/activity logs Support customer follow-up and satisfaction tracking
