Landscape Coordinator Landscape Operations • Irrigation Management • Community Enhancements Are you passionate about landscaping, irrigation systems, water conservation, and maintaining beautiful community spaces? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Landscape Coordinator to help oversee landscape operations, irrigation performance, and contractor activities throughout our community. In this role, you'll work closely with community leaders and landscape contractors to help ensure common areas, parks, boulevards, lakes, and amenities are maintained to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in landscape management, irrigation systems, property management, grounds maintenance, horticulture, or community association operations. What You'll Do Landscape & Irrigation Operations • Conduct routine inspections of landscape areas, irrigation systems, trees, shrubs, turf, and seasonal plantings. • Identify maintenance needs and issue work orders for repairs and improvements. • Coordinate with landscape contractors to ensure services are completed according to community standards and contract requirements. • Monitor irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and verify repairs. • Identify opportunities for water conservation and improved irrigation efficiency. • Assist with tree maintenance, plant replacement, drainage concerns, and landscape enhancement projects. Contractor & Project Coordination • Support the Landscape Manager and Community Manager with daily operations. • Obtain contractor proposals and bids for landscape improvement projects. • Monitor contractor performance and follow up on completed work. • Coordinate with lake management vendors regarding maintenance, operations, and related projects. Reporting & Budget Support • Track water usage, irrigation repairs, and maintenance activities. • Maintain irrigation inventories, maps, and related records. • Assist with budget monitoring and cost-control efforts. • Prepare reports and summaries related to landscape operations, water consumption, and project activities. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. • 1-3 years of experience in landscape management, irrigation, horticulture, grounds maintenance, property management, or a related field. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. • Ability to build positive relationships with contractors, vendors, residents, and team members. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Calsense and/or Rain Bird irrigation systems. • Previous leadership or supervisory experience. • Texas Irrigator License. • Knowledge of irrigation systems, water management, landscape maintenance, and tree care.
