Visalia Car Wash Maintenance Technician

Nature of Work: Maintenance Technician will provide preventative maintenance to full-service, automated, conveyor car washes. This key role is responsible for comprehensive property maintenance, ensuring optimal daily car wash operations and quality of service. Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for repairs and emergency breakdowns. ◆ Essential Job Functions: o Ability to perform metal fabrication and welding o Journey level plumbing and electrical maintenance experience o Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, pneumatics and commercial conveyor systems o Travel between all stores in the market performing tunnel repairs and new equipment installs. Occasional overnight stays between regions. o Able to multi-task and prioritize repairs o Basic computer skills o Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and the ability to travel from site to site. ◆ Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: To successfully perform the essential functions of the position, the employee must be able to read and write English. Mobility and travel from site to site is required. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Physical stamina. Comfortable working outdoors. Attention to detail is key. ◆ Scope of Position: This position reports to the Manager and has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This position receives daily assignments from the Manager. ◆ Working Conditions: This position works in an outside environment 100% of the time. Exposure to heavy equipment, slick surfaces and hot-cold temperatures. ◆ Major Accountabilities: 1) Timeliness and quality of service provided. 2) Accurate and timely data input in computer. 3) Prompt and courteous customer service. 4) Clean and safe work area. 5) Safe work habits. 6) Clean and proper uniform usage, good hygiene. 7) Effective employee relations.
