Bar Manager

Job Description The bar manager will help create a cocktail list, organize and oversee the bar area at the restaurant atop Snow King Mountain Resort. This individual will hire and train bar staff, create schedules, and create a positive bar atmosphere for customers. They will ensure the bar operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities (not limited to): Hire and train bartending staff on all aspects of the role. Ensure that all health, safety, and liquor requirements are being adhered to and kept up to date. Ensure the bar is stocked daily with appropriate supplies and ingredients. Work alongside vendors to place orders and monitor budgets. Assist with the creation of the bar menu. Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback as needed. Issue bills, accept payments, handle cash and credit cards. Anticipate, identify and correct system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction. Communicate with the food and beverage department management and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies equipment, safety problems, etc.
