Overview:

We are seeking two(2) Utility Porters for our Building Services team at One World Trade Center. Candidates will create a positive experience by providing superior customer service to building tenants and guests. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, ensuring that designated areas are always clean and well organized.

The work shift and post needed:

• Friday – Tuesday 12am-7:30am
• Days off: Wednesday & Thursday

Additionally, this position would be eligible for overtime for all hours actually worked, consistent with the Local 32BJ Collective Bargaining Agreement. Please note that wages are subject to tax withholdings and other applicable deductions.

This position is a Local 32BJ union position and will be based at One World Trade Center.

Salary Range: $24.036 - $32.048 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Perform heavy physical labor moving and pushing large amounts of trash

• Ability to operate freight car

• Operate heavy and specialized equipment safely and efficiently

• Operate tools and equipment in general custodial work

• Understand and follow work directions as provided by supervisor

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation
