About the role
The Sr. Full Stack Engineer on the Software Platform team is responsible for day-to-day delivery of software products, writing high-quality code and reviewing the code of others on the team. As a Senior Engineer, you are the driving force behind implementation and delivery – breaking down high-level requirements into individual development tasks, designing and implementing software systems, reviewing technical work from peers, and driving the team’s technical quality. Responsibilities • Lead technical design and architecture for products within the Software Platform team. • Design, implement, and maintain end to end software systems, spanning the entire product vertical: front-end engineering, back-end engineering, cloud engineering, testing / test automation, and system administration. • Design, implement, and maintain observability, monitoring, and alerting systems, to ensure reliability, availability of software products. • Own code review process and enforce engineering standards across the team. • Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and career development. • Help design and drive the team’s operational processes: including agile methodologies, support functions, and incident response processes. Minimum Qualifications • 5+ years experience in software engineering, with professional experience in frontend, backend, and cloud engineering. • Expert-level knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services. • Strong Terraform skills, including module development and state management. • Experience building CI/CD pipelines. • Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives. • Strong communication skills: written, public speaking, and interpersonal. • Familiarity with security and compliance in cloud environments. • A product-driven mindset, putting customer experience and value first Preferred Qualifications • Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling. • Experience building IoT applications. • Experience building applications deployed to air-gapped or offline environments.
