ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF TEST PREP INSTRUCTION at ARBORBRIDGE Join ArborBridge as an Associate Director of Test Prep Instruction, based in Santa Monica, CA! Passionate about learning and education, the Associate Director of Test Prep Instruction will work as part of our instruction team, and be responsible for tutoring students, teaching classes, mentoring tutoring, and developing new, innovative curriculum for American standardized tests. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Private tutoring of students, either one-on-one or in groups, either online or in-person, potentially up to 30 hours a week • Designing curriculum and tools for standardized tests and academic tutoring, including assisting in the production of online based tools • Creating marketable intellectual property for the company, such as videos, blog posts, and curricula • Overseas travel to teach classes and tutor privately • Serving as the "public face" for the company's instructors • Representing the company at conferences • Mentoring tutors and helping them improve their tutoring • Providing demonstrations of the company's services to prospective clients and referral sources • Help with various other projects -- flexibility a must! REQUIRED: • Bachelor's degree from a top university • Experience in curriculum development • Previous experience as an SAT/ACT tutor or ISEE/SSAT tutor • Willingness to travel on occasion, sometimes internationally • Deep knowledge of the SAT/ACT and/or ISEE/SSAT and US standardized tests • Passion for education • Exceptional time management skills • Exceptional writing and emailing skills • Exceptional presentation skills • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills and strong verbal communication ability • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details • Ability to work independently BENEFITS: • $200/month health care stipend • Casual dress code • No set vacation schedule • $50/month phone plan stipend • Company provided laptop • Fun, friendly, flexible environment COMPENSATION: $45k - $70k Base + Stock Options + Potential Bonus.
