Mate

AET currently has an opening for a mate in Galveston, TX. Each LSV carries two mates. Both report to the Captain and perform responsibilities and duties as assigned. One mate acts as the safety advisor onboard the LSV and ensures that all company and regulatory requirements related to health, safety and the environment are met. It is the duty of this Mate to look for potential hazards and means of preventing incidents onboard the LSV. The other mate is responsible for the deck maintenance of the vessel.
