Staff FPGA Engineer (f/m/d)

Deine Aufgaben • Design, implement and test RTL / FPGA embedded designs for a cutting-edge LiDAR sensor • Develop the FPGA architecture and partition it into submodules • Implement high-speed data acquisition modules, data-flow control and signal- processing algorithms • Write detailed implementation requirements from high-level specifications • Document a test and implementation plan and then execute on it • Contribute to strategies for the analysis and verification of the FPGA- based LiDAR hardware system • Verify designs through simulation and emulation • Cooperate with other teams to integrate and bring up developed features in prototype hardware Dein Profil Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field 6+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Solid RTL development experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog, and in complex FPGA architecture design Proficient in FPGA design methodologies (from state-machine design to DSP implementation), timing closure and mapping algorithms to FPGA-appropriate logic Hands-on experience with XILINX/AMD development tools and programming skills in Python Expert at integrating and bringing up features in hardware Good written and spoken German and English A plus: VHDL, C/C++, digital/analog circuit design, and knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
