About the role
Thrive, global fitness and performance training company, is currently hiring at City Fitness. Are you passionate about helping training clients and inspired by their results? Thrive is looking for a Personal Trainer to be responsible for proactively building their client base. The Thrive Personal Trainer‘s primary focus will be calibrating and maintaining their client’s programs and motivating clients to achieve their goals. The successful go-getter and energetic hire will attend a certification workshop to learn the philosophy and system and have a nationally accredited personal trainer certification before they begin training clients. Having excellent communication skills, the ability to respond quickly, and maintaining an open to learning mindset will all lead to success in this position. The Thrive Personal Trainer understands that to succeed, they will need to be available to work five days a week for 6 to 8-hour shifts (40 total hours) and be proficient in understanding movement skills and have knowledge of the human anatomy. We’re looking for a team player with a track record of motivating others and works well in a competitive, outcome-focused environment. Areas of Strength for You Ability to motivate clients and calibrate their training program within the training philosophy Ability to maintain proper planning skills, keeping a schedule one week in advance, and follow up with clients who have missed workouts Maintaining required amount of booked assessments each week Strong organization skills and cleanliness to present a high-level of service Your Experience Includes Knowledge of human anatomy and movement skills Organized, punctual, and the ability to achieve and maintain individual goals Proficient computer and written skills Track record of enthusiasm and being a team player We'd love to talk further if this role seems relevant to you and your experience.
