SAW OPERATOR- 2ND SHIFT

Principal Duties: As a 2nd Shift Saw Operator at Sierra Alloys , you’ll be responsible for cutting material to precise specifications using industrial sawing equipment. This role is critical to ensuring material is accurately sized, safely handled, and ready for the next step in the manufacturing process. The schedule for this position is typically 2:45pm to 11:15pm with option for overtime. You’ll set up and operate sawing equipment, measure and verify cut dimensions, record production results, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Attention to detail, consistency, and a strong focus on safety are essential, as your work directly impacts downstream operations, quality, and efficiency. This is a hands-on role in an active manufacturing environment and a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys precision work and wants to build or grow a career in manufacturing. Accurate cuts set the foundation for everything that follows. Saw Operators ensure material is prepared correctly from the start, helping prevent waste, rework, and delays throughout the operation. You’ll be standing for long periods, handling material, and expected to meet tight tolerances while following strict safety procedures.
