About the role

ROLE The Capillary and Gauge Field Service Technician/Drivers are responsible for assisting in the installation of Capillary/Gauge equipment and peripheral devices. This role serves as Tally's representative in the field, optimizing, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions for customers' capillary and downhole gauge systems, and includes driving responsibilities on behalf of the company. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS FIELD OPERATIONS Interpret and prepare capillary/gauge equipment; select appropriate equipment for field use. Coordinate and ensure safe transportation of equipment from the shop to the well site. Oversee installation and retrieval of capillary/gauge equipment while monitoring equipment and personnel for safe, efficient operation. ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) spooling experience required. Provide input on design criteria for artificial lift equipment. Work directly with customers to advise on proper procedures for successful installation and retrieval. Advise customers on job progress and determine any necessary modifications or deviations from initial procedures. Recognize inefficient system performance, analyze potential problems, and recommend or implement solutions. Consult with customers on ways to optimize system operation. Communicate with third-party vendors as needed. Exercise independent judgment, drawing on prior experience, to adapt procedures and tooling to changing field conditions. SAFETY Conduct pre-job safety meetings with onsite personnel and select relevant topics as needed. Conduct additional safety meetings throughout the day as conditions require. Exercise stop-work authority to halt operations at any time due to safety concerns, including improper use of tools or equipment, departures from procedures, or any other discretionary safety issue. Promote and strictly adhere to all Company HSE policies and practices. ADMINISTRATION & COMMUNICATION Complete all associated paperwork, reports, records, and correspondence accurately and on time. Effectively communicate instructions to employees, contractors, and field representatives in a professional and respectful manner. Promote field sales for Tally's products and services by maintaining customer relationships and encouraging capillary/gauge training for company personnel. Maintain positive, professional working relationships with all crew members and customers. Understand and comply with all applicable Company and external quality standards. Conduct all business activities in accordance with the Company Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and all applicable legal requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, within the physical constraints of the job.
