Trainee Concrete Batcher/Dispatcher

Looking to start or grow your career in operations? We’re seeking a motivated person to join our Queenstown Allied Concrete team as a Trainee Batcher/Dispatcher. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn the science of making concrete, coordinate deliveries, support plant operations, and ensure our customers receive high-quality products on time. As a trainee you will learn to; • Operate the computerised concrete batching plant • Dispatch trucks efficiently to meet delivery schedules • Support concrete production and manage raw material supply • Operate the loader and other yard equipment • Work closely with drivers to optimise fleet performance • Maintain plant cleanliness and assist with basic maintenance • Deliver excellent customer service and support sales opportunities • Uphold quality, safety, and environmental standards You will be; • Eager to learn and build a long-term career • Strong communicator with a team-focused attitude • Well organised with good attention to detail • Positive, reliable, and proactive This is a great opportunity to develop a specialist career in the construction sector. No experience is required as full training is provided along with support to obtain the required licences. The role could equally suit a school leaver or somebody who already works in the construction industry and wants a change of direction. The role is full time with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
